Mesquite Retreat Kennels is a premier dog boarding facility located on 20 sprawling acres near Copperas Cove, Texas. Founded by Lindsey Ash-Bennett, DVM, and Daniel Bennett, we offer a unique combination of veterinary medical knowledge and specialized canine handling experience. Lindsey has been a practicing veterinarian since 2005, while Daniel brings years of expertise as a retired Law Enforcement professional and working-dog trainer. Together, we have transformed our passion for animals into a dedicated countryside sanctuary. Our mission is to provide every visiting pet with a secure, climate-controlled indoor environment paired with extensive outdoor space for exercise.

We treat every guest like family, ensuring a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and comfort. Whether your dog requires specialized oversight or simply a peaceful place to stay while you are away, our rural retreat provides the perfect landscape.
